Awakening The Sacred Masculine At The Turning Of The Ages cont.

Today is a brand new day upon the planet. The waves of ascending consciousness are sweeping over the Earth, awakening people of all walks of life to the clearer purpose of our deeper human  potential. Over this past decade alone, due to the increasing sophistication of our Internet technology, the ways we communicate and see ourselves in relationship to each other, has changed immeasurably. Never before has the information stream been so rich and readily available, helping people expand our understanding of what effects and impacts the rest of us. In this respect, the level of accelerated growth, has indeed been off the charts.

Primary to the shifts impacting humanity now, on the deepest of levels, is the questioning and redefining of the traditional gender roles between men and women. The long established societal and cultural rules that have historically created conformity and stability, no longer  provide either. Of all the enormous changes underway within the global human culture, nothing is more fundamental than this.

Aside from what we look, sound and think like, beyond what we have, own and do for a living, amongst the myriad differences between all us humans, what absolutely defines us on the most humanistic levels, is how well we get along with each other. How well do we co-exist along side each other and how well do we play
? How well do we express our feelings and listen to others express theirs - how well do we negotiate and accommodate and above all, continue to seek resolution with those in our lives. How committed are we to create and propagate Win-Win results in all our relationships? As planetary citizens, this is becoming the main qualifier in our lives now.

To put things into perspective and primary to the shifts underway, this is the first time in recorded history woman can be openly valued and honored for holding and expressing their power. This is not true in every community, in every country on the planet and yet, more and more women are now able to experience greater equality with men in their lives, both personally and professionally than ever before.

Our counterparts, the woman in our lives, have been challenging their historical role models for many decades now. In America, at the beginning of the last century, the women's suffragette movement that sought to grant woman the rite to vote began breaking down the long established structures of a 'woman's place´ primarily being in the home. The right to have their voice counted, with an active say in the politics of their country, gave them a sense of participation, power and pride. Already the gears o
f evolution were beginning to move us all along ...

Also in America, the advent of the Second World War enabled woman to join the workforce by filling the jobs made available by men fighting overseas. These female pioneers unknowingly began redefining the gender functions forcing them to shift for all of us. This would later only escalate exponentially during the revolutionary 1960's.

During this time, the remarkable invention of the birth control pill and it's introduction into all levels of society, allowed women to finally take control of their bodies regarding the authority and responsibility of their reproductive process. Women were no longer powerless or subject to conceive and give birth based on the desire, force and will of the men in their lives. To consciously choose not to conceive during sexual intercourse profoundly increased their ability to own and develop their own sexual power and express their feminine independence in the most basic of ways. This conscious pro-choice had been virtually impossible before this time in history.

This medical and social phenomena alone fractured beyond repair the long held historical and archetypal role models between men and women beyond recognition. Not just for woman but for us men as well. As women challenged and began changing their core belief systems, based primarily on their traditional roles, men were left with no choice but to change as well. However in our case, our evolutionary shifts were not motivated by self empowerment and a quest for independence but rather reactions to what we could no longer control, the women in our lives.
The degree by which women have evolved and grown in relatively such short amount of time, is simply staggering. Many of us were forced to wake up only because we kept being left behind.
The vacuum this created was the catalyst that bitch slapped us to take another look at how we treated our significant others.
