The Price It Takes 2 ~

Over the years, I’ve observed in the quest to Awaken, so many of us - in this respect, primarily women - who in forging ahead in their own journey, had to leave their lives behind – their marriages, kids, homes and jobs to do so. For them, it became sink or swim and in order to stay afloat, they had to abandon their old selves, like tossing ballast over the side of the boat to keep moving forward.

In this, their Soul’s primal desire to Awaken took precedence over all else. These people have become heroes and heroines of mine because they found the courage to not go lame and quit short of their goal. The uncertain and dangerous undertow in doing this, aside from stepping blind and near naked into the Void, was their choice to grow at all costs, cost them their old identities.

Whether willingly climbing into the dark chrysalis cave or pealing the snake skin all the way, the pull of the Beloved eventually becomes irresistible – and inevitable. However as a result, the gap widened between these individuals and the mass consciousness, people-pack even more, often leaving them alone on the crest of the wave. Perhaps on the forefront of change but more often than not, riding solo. It appears it’s the price that has to be paid …or certainly willing to be waged on behalf of your Awakening.

Just like not everyone is built to be happy in life (years of observation, along with working with clients have shown this), not everyone will make the grand leap of consciousness, riding the wave of Awakening safely to shore. Not everyone will choose to live from their Heartspaces, overlooking the apparent differences in others to find the common connection in diversity.

It takes a special person to most always choose love or rather, to seek to expresses this by being loving in life. Again, ‘love’ is an action word, short for loving. Unless you consciously show it in your life, it’s not really real, at least in an actualize way. You first have to feel it, to reveal it and you have to need it to ignite it in others.

As a Soul born into a man’s body, with all my other counterpart qualities, my maleness has certain program themes or currents running. One of them, as is so for most men and women carrying especially strong masculine energies, our ways of ‘doing’ in the world is a vital means of expression of our core Being in life. For men, we are how we do.

This is why a sense of purpose in life, along with the ability to express and actualize this is so fundamentally important for our sense of fulfillment. Without this consciously conveyed, our Soul purpose to embody our Sacred is dead in the water, null and void. I’ve seen it over and over again, if only because I’ve seen it in myself. Without expressing my Heart in my interactions with others, I feel somehow empty in my life. And this has become unacceptable. For me, it has come down to this.

Perhaps this sounds egotistical or self-aggrandizing but it’s not. The burden of embodying my Sacred has meant, more often than not, doing what my Sacred wants. This being, calling It into my self to in turn, help ignite It in others. As a man and being the man I am, the simple kindnesses and courtesies ongoingly expressed throughout my day, certainly do touch others in positive ways.

Don’t believe for a nanosecond, that not everyone who serves your throughout you day today wouldn’t very much like to hear you say Thank You, spoken sincerely with gratitude. It’s said so rarely it seems, so far and few between, especially in NYC. This is because so many people (at least in this burg) have forgotten how to say Gracias and really mean it. People here are so wrapped up in their own lives, glued into their iPhones, that they pass by, hardly here at all.

Thank You & Love To Us All ~
