I keep seeing how many misconceptions people
have about what their Sacred actually is. Throughout recorded history, with the
heavy dogmatic overlays from our primary religious doctrines leading the way,
the perversion of how we approach the Divine, has been unbelievably rampant.
The twisted notion of how we access Spirit has pervaded our collective
consciousness for far too long.
Many have been taught to believe how difficult,
if not unattainable our Sacred actually is. For many millennia we’ve been told
we need someone in authority to not only interpret the Divine for us but intercede
on our behalf in making It come alive in us. We’ve been so frikkin’
brainwashed, it’s staggering! The truth is, accessing your Sacred, is only a breath away. The mind blowing
simplicity of this is so basic to our understanding of our true, Divine natures.
The profundity and irony is, we were all equipped
with the most infallible guidance system in the Universe. And it all takes
place in our bodies, within our very Heartspace, with each breath we breathe.
Because this phenomena is so outrageously simple, our rational minds can’t
possibly rap around it. This ability isn’t about mere understanding as much as
experiencing it directly, each time we take a breath.
The bottom line is: Only in this present moment, here, is your Sacred alive. Only in
this present moment, now, does Spirit live. Because your breath always brings
you back into this primary place of connection, it continuously delivers you to
the only moment your life takes place. Here & Now. Over and over, endlessly
again. But you do have to be present to
get here. What is more Sacred that that? To the degree you’re present, is
the degree you’re touching and living your Sacred. This I’ve come to believe,
is nonnegotiable.
The whole notion of calling into and embodying
the Christ consciousness – your Christ
Consciousness - has been so steeped
in man’s misinterpretation of his own Sacred nature. Not to denigrate men in
general, however, seeing as the men in mankind have been calling the shots for
so long now, it’s difficult to ignore the basic facts. In this, it’s pretty clear,
we’ve not been serving the Beloved but our mind’s directives and desires instead.
Looking at the world today will tell how well this has worked out.
Without a doubt - IT’S NOT SUPPOSED TO BE SO
COMPLICATED. Only our minds make it so. Like, what’s new?! This isn’t gender
specific, folks. In this, we all share equal billing and total responsibility.
Just like we all have varying degrees of masculine and feminine qualities, lingam
and yonies aside, our minds have qualities and characteristics that are independent
of our sexual equipment or orientation.
To make it real simple, the qualities of the
Christ consciousness are unconditional love. Period. Kindness, compassion, forgiveness, gratitude, faith and trust rank equally
high on the list as well. Even though you may not walk on water or make a
whole banquet spread out of a single sandwich, to recognize where you’re
already displaying these attributes is such an important step closer to
embodying your Sacred.
To keep putting your Sacred too far out of
reach is to live a lie. In truth, your
nature is 100% Divine. Always has been, always will be. To recognize this one
eternal reality alone, brings you closer to your Soul’s destiny. In this, you
don’t have to make up what to do as much as spend more time Being what you
already are.
The paradox in this is, by living through your
Heartspace (where these previously listed attributes live) and expressing these
qualities in your daily life – first and foremost with yourself, you naturally resonate
and act from your Sacred. It really is this beguilingly simple.
To make a correction or rather, clarification: your Christ Consciousness isn’t gender specific.
It’s not confined or limited to just men bringing in and embodying this
Presence. It’s not strictly about the masculine archetype either. It belongs to all of us.

In The Park … long after dark’ - this past weekend’s dance groove was, as
always, so much fun! I saw this awakening Presence that’s
filling my life play out with those I connected with, over and over again.
While in the company of these familiar strangers, ones I only see during these
weekend events, we’ve become pretty familiar with each other’s vibe. After a
while, how you see a person act, is who they really are.
Believe it, the discernment factor here is
extremely high. This being NYC, not many of these folks suffer fools gladly, if at all. There’s
not much room, time (or willingness) to sift through another’s nonsense. In
this respect, you have to earn your way into this crew. What I sense and keeps
catching my attention, is the feeling of the Beloved’s love pouring out of and through
me, touching those I encounter, in a palpably strong way.
In fact, this radiance (and not just from me),
flows out to everyone, however, only those who are able to open to accept and
receive this current, respond in kind. Ironically enough, only those who
already have this glow about them, reflect it back. Odd how this works, isn’t
it? As the saying goes: It takes one to
know one. In fact, it takes a consciousness rooted in The One to find this
common denominator, out in a crowd.
