I swear, the signs just keep on coming ... Early last week on
Far Rockaway, while stretching alone on the beach before going for a swim, I happened
to looked down and low and behold, nearly stepped on a 4” bronze, engraved and
tethered ankh medallion swirling in the surf. Like Poof, it’s at my feet. Yowsa!
Having a basic understanding of ancient mythology, I know this Egyptian symbol carries
some serious, heavy-duty mojo. Among other things, it signifies ‘eternal life
& the marriage of the feminine and masculine within …’ Very cool.
And again two days later while walking on the same beach, I come
upon a pink, squeezy plastic bunny doll doing the same thing. Being washed up
in the surf, at my feet. Absurd nonsense, silly coincidence, act of nature,
sign from God? Hardly and perhaps all the above, though certainly a nice little
touch from the Universe telling me, hey dude, chill out - all is well. Believe me, I’ll take the encouragement – like all I
can get.
In this, I firmly believe the Universe is constantly
communicating with ItSelf - all the time without fail – in this case, with
Itself as me, Keith. My shamanicly accented, awakening journey has largely been
about recognizing these ongoing signs or promptings and acting accordingly.
Consciously, in fact. Regardless if you think you live in a nonsensical, chaos
theory of a cosmos, haphazardly tumbling out as your life or believe perhaps as
do I – that I live in a supremely conscious, organized and all-intelligent
version of ItSelf, constantly expressing Itself through and as ‘Keith,’ is largely
beside the point. (Of course, this Universal scenario, applies equally to you
as well.)
However, whether you live in relative harmony with your personal
version of the cosmos, really is the point – wouldn’t you say? And further
directly, do you? Live in harmony, I mean. Do you have a sense of yourself in
your Spiritual vastness, free and clear as your eternal Soul Self or do you merely
see yourself as the little ol’you looking back in your mirror each day,
searching for the look of approval?
Can you safely hold all the apparent opposites of you - the good
& bad – the light & dark - the positive & negative - the masculine
& feminine aspects of your personality, gently, if not non-judgmentally in
your Heartspace? Because if you can’t, don’t or won’t, you haven’t healed your core ‘split’ yet. You’re still separate
from your Divine Self and therefore disconnected from fully living your Sacred.
You’re still searching, yet to embody. And until you do, you’ll inevitably project
your split upon all your relationships, creating break down, over and over
again. Sound familiar? It certainly did for me.
The waves of Spiritual opportunity endlessly roll in and yet
observation shows, most people are either overly preoccupied with their Iphones,
too inebriated or simply dulled and disinterested to recognize them when they appear.
These Divine gifts often pass us by, amidst the oncoming rush of traffic of our
busy lives. And all the while we’re trying to make ‘ends meet,’ when if we ever
do, the ends don’t seem to remain met for very long. Especially now, in these
Turning of The Ages times where the fabric of our accepted realities are being
unwoven within us and unraveling before our very eyes.
Don’t you know, these present times are light years beyond way powerful
and potent – more than most people can possibly imagine. With plains regularly being
blown out of the sky, constantly wacked out weather conditions and people far less
sure than ever about what’s really going on, there’s also a sublime current growing
in the rushing river of humanity. If you care to experience it, there’s an
awakening underway but at the very least, you’ll have to look closer to see it.
It’s actually happening in all our lives though most are light years behind in
recognizing this phenomena.
This living vein of super-consciousness, like my subterranean subway
voyage through the bowels of Manhattan and Brooklyn to get beach-side, requires
a fair amount of competence to jump into and swim buoyantly afloat. Not to
mention the courage to be relentlessly present (a nonnegotiable requirement) and
the significant effort it takes to actually be so. But most of all, it takes really wanting it. Awakening I mean, like100%
or as close as you can possibly get. Paying close attention helps too. If I space out and miss my subway stops,
forget to change trains along the way, I could end up on distant Pluto. I know
this for a fact, if only because some of my fellow travelers look like they’re certainly
headed there or just recently returned.
This Lifeforce flow, eternally moving in your Vertical Power
Current or Soul Stream is the current line that always runs, like in this
Gotham City. Although like my beach excursion via the subway, it demands I first
get on the train to eventually arrive Here. Being conscious in this very moment,
Now, is the same way. Being present is the beginning and the end, all at the
same time. The Alpha & Omega wrapped into one. And eternally much more. In
this I’ve found, the cosmic magic or mojo isn’t conditional or
situation-specific. Meaning: where (ever) I am, the circumstances at hand don’t
ultimately define me or identify me solely as ‘Keith.’ I Am indeed a Spirit
having a human experience not the other way around.
This time now is like living in a really heightened, trippy Zen state,
more often than not. As always, the ticket of admission to passing through this
transcendent moment in history is no longer identifying with all my busy thoughts,
flowing emotions and beliefs of less than. I simply can’t be fully present, alive,
awake and aware if I’m playing in these other parts of Keith. Judgment aside -
they all have their place and compelling aspects, however, these parts simply
aren’t equipped to take me Home. Like passing through the eye of the needle,
only my eternal and free Soul can pass effortlessly through.
